  Statement of intent Brief 4: My website is about gaming and I chose this because in today’s generation games are the most popular media products used and would the attract 10-13 year olds as they are the main consumers of this product and this site is going to tell about gaming and let them learn they would learn anything from it. This would then need some type of text that will stand out to 10-13 year olds. In my website I am going to use either the font Bernard MT condensed or magneto and put the text in bold for the title of my website which while attract young audiences because they would always look for things that will stand out making them want to see what it is. In the rest of the text on the website I‘m using magneto as it’s is readable and stands out from just normal Calibri In the video I am going to explain what is going to be shown on the website and what you can learn from it. I am going to use the colours black, red, purple, orange and a bright turquoise....

In this task I'll explore different types of images, fonts and colours to use in my website.  I shall be looking at different connotations and how these affect the way my target audience might view my product.  By creating this mood board I will also be exploring creative ways of how to present my work. In this task i am going to i am going to chose 3 different types of media products and see what is the intertextuality in them.  Task 1: National Geographic Kids: This website is a site for kids to go on there and explore the world and understand what happens in the world and learn.On this website here children can play games and enjoy learning in easier and more enjoying way. This website can be used by schools and so has educational pictures to entertain children. This website is a geographical website and so you can learn about places/animals/rocks.... BBC NEWS  CHILDREN: On this website they inform the reader (in this case children) about the things that happen in the UK or the world it will talk about the problems the good and the things people think that are bad and what people should actually think of it..e.g ADHD isn't actually a bad thing it's like a superpower that people have and it allows them to think outside the box and actually thin...

lesson 1 - NEA Part 1 - Media Language and Representations Analysis-13/03/19

BBC news round: 1. Moving image (music video/documentary): They use pans for there vids and when doing interviews they change the camera angle by using different cameras.they will show animated clip to explain the situation.for example when they where explaining the problem in northern Ireland and Brexit they used a animated map to explain the problem which will catch the eye of a child and bring there attention to it.this can show us that they are aiming for a young audience. 2. Online: on there website they put family friendly info and tern harsh info in to a way a child could understand it and enjoy it but don't get frightened by it. this website informs others about the UK  issues and info about the world in a way that children can understand the world news and learn which means it has met it's task.
